Welcome to the International Conference on Information Technology in Green Energy and Environmental Sustainability - itGEES, is to focuses on the role of green ICT in accomplishing more eco-responsible and energy efficient solutions in computing and in promoting environmentally friendly computer systems. The event aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners who are interested in both ICT and the ecological impact of computing on the environment. Experts from Industry who are committed to work on the development of eco-efficient technologies and technology applications are also warmly welcome. itGEES is held during May 10-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, USA and jointly organised by the Association of Computer Electronics and Electrical Engineers (ACEEE) and the Association of Civil and Environmental Engineers (ACEE).
Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in India and abroad. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Information, Telecommunication, Green Energy and Environmental Sustainability and related areas. All the registered papers will be published by the IDES Conference Publishing System (both Print and CD media) and it will be made available in the SEARCH Digital Library, and will be submitted for possible indexing in all the major indexing services such as the DBLP, IET Inspec, Scopus, EI Compdex, Thomson ISI Proceedings, Google Scholar, Proquest, etc. All the registered FULL PAPERS and SHORT PAPERS alone will be published in the two issues of the following journals
English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit full (and original research) papers (which is NOT submitted/published/under consideration anywhere in other conferences/journal) in electronic (PDF only) format.
